What is so remarkable about this little black and brown ball of fur is just how many people's lives she touched and how loving she was to all (even non-cat fanciers). She made so many hearts sing with as little as a glance but always offered so much more.Eboni's life started out pretty rough until she came to CARE and had her three kittens. Neki, the only little girl, became our second CARE kitty and has been with us seven years. We adopted Eboni 3 years and 7 months ago after our first kitty (Kimi) passed. Our greatest regret is that we couldn't have had her longer with us to help make up for the tougher years of her life. We have a beautiful picture of Eboni that hangs over a chair that Neki sleeps on. Seems like mother is still watching out for her daughter and us too.

To my Beautiful Bootsie, who was my baby in every way, she knew me inside & out. She was able to walk without a leash by my side & took commands, without being squirted with water. When I was in tears, she would come over to me and lay next to me, like to say, "I feel your pain". There will never be another Bootsie, for me.
