Your Support Gives Them A Chance.

By operating our cage-free, no-kill sanctuary for orphaned cats and dogs, CARE demonstrates that humane alternatives exist to address the pet overpopulation problem.

Our communities are struggling with a burgeoning population of unwanted pets, especially cats and dogs. Community leaders across the nation are encouraging people to spay/neuter, adopt from the shelters and sponsor feral cat colonies, all of which certainly contribute to a solution. But even when successful, these strategies take time. And for so many innocents, their time is now, before long-term solutions can take hold.

What can we do to save these animals who are "in-between" solutions? Where there are not enough responsible homes, responsible sanctuaries present the most humane response to the problem of pet overpopulation.

Your dollars make it possible for CARE to more than simply "save lives." You are making it possible for animals to live out their lives in peace and dignity!

And even more importantly, you are demonstrating your support for the truly humane treatment of animals by giving them a chance to thrive in a loving, supportive sanctuary!

Truly, your donations are making a difference! Please help us save even more lives!

Volunteers Make Everything possible

With an all-volunteer Board of Directors, CARE truly recognizes and deeply appreciates the commitment of time and energy of our volunteers. Volunteers help us raise funds, they enrich the lives of our animals, and they help spread the word about the value and viability of the sanctuary movement as a means to give a great quality of life to orphaned animals.

While we are based in the Los Angeles area, and our sanctuary is located in northern Los Angeles county, volunteers from all over the world can help us by holding fundraisers to help our sanctuary as well as by supporting responsible sanctuaries in general. Locally, we need helping hand on a number of levels.

Please help us continue to provide a great quality of life for orphaned pets! It is the commitment and generous support of individuals like you that makes it all possible.
